It’s that time of the week again, a review of the Bedford Lions and Lionesses League. Firstly a big welcome to Freddie Williams and his number1 team, to make it a straight 32 players. Currently it will make next year FPL Cup easy to work out! We take a look at a familiar face who was the team of the week plus the tightness at the top of the table.
Cash Is Word
Cash was certainly the name In the FPL. Most importantly, Matty scored Aston Villa’s first goal of the season in a 1-1 at Sunderland. Then, Cash In Cash Out was the team of the week by George Procter. As mentioned, several players scored 70+ points last week. However it was only 66 was needed for this time around.
Erling Haaland indeed was used as Captain and scored (18 points) for Manchester City in their 1-1 draw at Arsenal. He also scored well for Tijjani Reindeers (9), who assisted Haaland for the goal. Elsewhere in the team, Bruno Fernandes (10) scored for Manchester United in their 2-1 win over 10 men of Chelsea..
In total, Procter is sitting pretty at the top of the table with 354 points and will be looking to build on the good momentum in the following week.

Getting Tight
Not the best week for Parso (44 points) sees Adam Parsons’s team on 306 points in 2nd place and the others closing in. Luke Perkins’s Guessand my team (58 points) moved up one place to third with Luke Perkins’s Expected Toulouse and Jamie Stewart’s 1.FC McGinniesta moving into the top five at the expense of Scenes From an Emery and Fast Eddie XV.

A challenging week for most and lots of thinking to do ahead of the first full round of midweek European fixtures. Join us next week for a full round up of gameweek 6.
