It’s that time at the week again and the first match stage before a complete schedule of European games. There were plenty of surprise results and scores this week, so we take a look at fresh face who topped the match stage 6 table and new leader at the top of the overall table in the Bedford Lions Premier League.

New Face

The first 5 match stages tables have been dominated by players at the top of the Bedford Lions Premier League but not this week. The honour this week goes to Jake Downes, with a score of 61. This was helped by two perfect scores including predicting a result which gives all us a smile on our faces. Aston Villa’s first league win of the season, a 3-1 success over Fulham. His other perfect score came late on, with Bournemouth grabbing a late equaliser to draw 2-2 at Leeds United. Jake moved up 3 places to 9th in the table.

A special mention also goes to Lauren Ann, who scored an impressive 51, helped by predicting Liverpool would lose 2-1 at Crystal Palace.

New Leader

Param Basi has been leading the way since Match Stage 2 but he has been knocked off his perch this week. James who has been going along consistency over the last few match stages, has finally hit the top of the table by having another solid week, scoring 42 points. He now has 319 points, 10 clear of Param, who is 10 clear of Luke Frost who dropped to 3rd.
