A strong week for many players this week. We take a look at the player who topped the last match day table before Christmas plus who will be top of the charts before the big day in the Bedford Lions Premier League?

Feeling Merry

Ok, cheesy headline! However this is in recognition by our very own Tina Merry, who topped the match day table, the last before Christmas and her first since the opening match stage of the season.

She scored an impressive 76 points, helped by correctly predicting that Aston Villa would beat Manchester United 2-1! She also scored a perfect score from her joker by predicting our title rivals (so far) Manchester City would beat West Ham United 3-0. Her final perfect score came with Liverpool beating 9 man Tottenham Hotspur 2-1.

Tina moves up one place to 7th in overall table on 826 points. More consistency over festive period and she might find herself in a title race! More on that to follow.

Sticking Together At Christmas

Param Basi finds himself still top of the table on 915 points but he’s not alone! Luke Frost’s strong week of 71 points has put him dead level with Param and he has certainly been the form player over the last month.

I have also been having a good time at late and my 72 points this week, has seen me climb to 3rd place on 871 points just 2 ahead of James and 6 ahead of Jamie in 5th place.

A little further back you find Troy in 6th with 832 points but is all to play for ahead of the 3 match stages over holiday period.
