Lots of talk about title race this and title race that! We maybe getting one in the Bedford Lions and Lionesses League with one player putting up some resistance to the runaway leader!
Pushing On
Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce has been putting together some impressive form at late, trying to cut down George Procter’s Cash in Cash Out team lead at the top.
This week a use of the Wildcard Chip pays wonders as 65 points won him the manager of the week.
Nearly half his points came from his two Newcastle United Players that both scored in their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. Defender Malick Thiaw (17 points) and Midfielder Bruno Guimaraes (10 points) also scored points in other aspects of the game.
There was also another goal for Arsenal defender Gabriel (9 points) in their 3-2 win at Bournemouth.
The 65 points puts him on 1,185 points, 57 points behind Cash in Cash Out, who had much improved week, scoring 42 points.
This title race could get very exciting in the months ahead!

Mark Stanyard’s Stanners FC remains in 3rd on 1154, just 3 points ahead of Paul Standard’s McGinn and Tonic team in 4th, who is point better off Jack Stewart’s Serious Konsaquences team in 5th.
