We bring you the final match stage of a memorable 2025/26 season for us all. We take a look at the last winner of the match day table plus a look at the final table and closing remarks from the Chairman Iain Stewart.
The Last Stand
It was Jake Downes, who won the final match day of the table with a score of 58 points. His scores were pretty consistent with some results right or the number of goals. His one perfect score was Sunderland beating Chelsea 2-1.
This moved him up one place to finished 7th in the table with 1,578 points.
In The Money
The last few months has seen a two horse race for the title between myself and Luke Frost. Luke held a 33 point lead going into the match stage.
Although I closed the gap, I didn’t close it enough. Luke takes the title with 1,857 points and the jackpot! I was satisfied to come 2nd in my first season, ending with 1,838 points.
A good season for Jamie Stewart, as he takes 3rd place with 1,747 points and Param Basi completing the top 4 with 1,729 points.

So Forescore is complete for another season. This has been the third time through for Bedford Lions and after Jamie won the first two we have a new champion – step forward Luke Frost 🏆. Luke finished marginally ahead of Ed with Jamie back in third this year. Perhaps the most impressive statistic is that most of us remembered to make our tips in at least 32 of the 38 rounds of the season!!!
