In the final gameweek of the season, we look at the player who won the final gameweek table, the final review at the top of the table, the review of the Final of the FPL Cup plus the closing words from the Chairman of the Bedford Lions and Lionesses FPL, Luke Frost.
Treble Boost
It was Phil Arrowsmith’s eeyckma who won the gameweek with impressive score of 80 points.
His use on the treble captain boost on Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes. His goal and another assist in their 3-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion got a return of 42 points.
There were also a double from our own Ollie Watkins (13) in our 2-1 win at Manchester City and West Ham United’s Jarod Bowen (12) scoring in their 3-0 win against Leeds United.
This moved the team up 4 places to finished in 10th position with 2,140 points.

Never In Doubt
Having led the table since gameweek 3, George Procter’s Cash In Cash Out side was deserved winners of the league with final points score of 2,332.
Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce finished 2nd on 2,250 points on what proved to be a great season for him (more on that later).
An excellent score of 78 points saw Syreena Wilson’s Expected Toulouse move up 5 places to 3rd on 2,214, 6 ahead of Matthew Lang’s Absolute Creamers. Jack Stewart’s Serious Konsaquences finished 5th on 2,197 with just 11 points separating him in 5th and Jamie Stewart’s 1. FC McGinniesta in 8th. The final table is below.

Glory Days
We now come to the final of the FPL Cup with Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce taking on Jake Downes’s Emerydaysaschoolday.
Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce scored 63 points by having Bruno Fernandes as his Captain and including Ollie Watkins.
Jake Downes’s Emerydaysaschoolday couldn’t beat this despite including Manchester City’s Midfielder Antoine Semenyo (12) who scored City goal in that 2-1 defeat. His score for the week was just 30, as many other Managers felt the pinch of players being rested ahead of the World Cup.
A great season to Aaron then, 2nd in the league and the FPL Cup winner this season.

The Closing Words
Now to the final words from the Chairman Luke Frost-
So, the season is over, Villa have won in Europe and a congratulations to George Proctor who was victorious in our Beddy Lions FPL mini league with a total of 2332 points.
He won with an 82 point gap so it shows just how well he did this season! Aaron Basi finished second with Syreena Wilson finishing in third.
Whilst Aaron was runner up in the League itself, he managed to win the Cup. Congrats to all!
We had 33 members compete in the league this season, hopefully we can get even more next time around!
Thank you to all those that joined us. Have a great summer and see you next season! Up the Villa
