Match Stage 3

It’s the last match stage before the International break and a lot of brain searching to make predictions and to be the best in the Bedford Lions Premier League. One player is outshining the rest and pulling clear at the top.

Pulling Away

Param Basi took over the leadership of the table after impressive 48 points in match stage 2. For this match stage he did even better, scoring 62 points to not just stay top of the overall table but topping the match day 3 table as well. This was helped by correctly predicting that Chelsea would beat Fulham 2-0 and he used his joker on it too! He also got a perfect result when Sunderland got a late winner to beat Brentford 2-1. It was also a good week for jamesavfc, who got the same results as Param and scored 61 in the matchday 3 table.

Gap Emerging

Param Basi has 184 points and is now 31 points clear of Luke Frost in second (153). Jack is one point further back in third place with James’s solid performance shifting him in the top 4 (147). I complete the top 5 with 140.

Now that the international fixtures have been and gone, it’s time to get those predictions in before the first game at weekend when Arsenal play Nottingham Forest at 12:30pm on Saturday 13th September.
