FPL- Gameweek 11

This was not the highest scoring week of the Bedford Lions and Lionesses League but there was something unusual with two teams sharing the spoils of team of the week. We also take a closer look at the challengers at the top of the table.

Closely Matched

So, the unusual thing. This was not the change at the top of the table, with George Procter’s Cash in Cash Out team still far out the league. It was the fact he shared the team of the week, with the team that has finished the gameweek in 2nd place- Jack Stewart’s Serious Konsaquences. Both scoring 58 points.

Starting with Cash in Cash Out, most of the team scored points without one outstanding with Crystal Palace’s Goalkeeper Dean Henderson and Chelsea’s Pedro Neto scoring the most with 9 points each.

His captain Erling Haaland had mixed game against Liverpool. He had a penalty saved but scored the first goal in Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Liverpool, scoring 8 points overall.

As well as Haaland, Neto and Joao Pedro scored in Chelsea 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanders with Newcastle United’s Nick Woltemade also finding the net in Newcastle’s 3-1 reverse at Brentford.

As for  Serious Konsaquences, They also had Haaland as captain and the highest scoring player was Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka. He scored in the 2-2 draw at Sunderland, scoring 12 points overall.

He also had Neto and Pedro in his team with Crystal Palace’s Defender Chris Richards scoring a handy 8 points in their 0-0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Overall, this puts Cash in Cash Out team on 755 points, with 97 point lead over Serious Konsaquences team, who climbed two places and now has 662 points.

Can anyone stop George Procter from winning?

Chasing Pack

So you already know about the top two of the league table but what about the rest! Luke Perkins’s Guessand my team moves up to 3rd with 659 points just 1 ahead of Aaron Basi’s team Gangsters Allardyce. Jamie Stewart’s 1. FC McGinniesta didn’t’t have the strongest week scoring just 36 points. They slipped down two places to 5th with 654 points.

Still close after the leader of the table. Just 14 points separate Jack Stewart’s Serious Konsaquences in 2nd place with 662 and 3 teams (7th to 9th) on 648 points.
