FPL- Gameweek 13

In the Bedford Lions and Lionesses League, we take a look at the team who made good use of there chip plus the other events of the week.

Hit Me With Your Gangsters Chip

Ok, so the heading is a combine of two big hits from 1979- Ian Drury & The Blockheads ‘Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick’ and The Specials ‘Gangsters’. This was because Aaron Basi’s team Gangsters Allardyce topped the gameweek table with 76 points thanks to playing a Free Hit.

There were plenty of goals in the team which included Phil Foden scoring twice in Man City 3-2 win against Leeds United (15), Cody Gakpo scoring and assisting in Liverpool 2-0 success at West Ham United (14) and Brentford In form Striker Thiago scoring twice in their 3-1 home success over Burnley (13).

This great performance sees his team move up from 7th to 2nd on 765 points and cut George Procter’s lead (a little bit) at the top with his Cash in Cash Out team who currently has 861 points.

How Not To Play Your Chip

Another chip that was used by many this week was the Triple Captain. However this was mainly used on Man City’s Erling Haaland, who only returned 6 points. Oops!

Benjamin King’s Accounts Playable team dropped down one to 3rd place with 756 points, as does Jack Stewart’s Serious Konsaquences drops a place to 4th on 742 points. A good week Sachin Thethy’s team Marmoushy peas who climbed to 5th place with 742 points, 5 points ahead of  Luke Perkins’s Guessand my team and My Fast Eddie XV team who dropped to 6th and 7th respectively.

A full midweek of FPL action ahead, so don’t forget your selections and remember use your chips wisely!

Deadline for gameweek 14 team selections is 6:00pm on Tuesday 2nd December.
