In the Bedford Lions and Lionesses League, we take a look at the team who boosted his points total with good use of a chip plus the events at the top of the table.
Unbelievable Boost
When reviewing the action of FPL, I also make a piece about the team of the week. Now most weeks the teams feature are near the top of the league, so it’s always refreshing to talk about other teams that are not currently at the higher reaches of the table.
This week, Darren Sturman’s team unbelievablevillans scored 92 points to take this week prize. After a bit of micky taking on Man City forward Erling Haaland, that only scored 6 points the previous week (for the ones who put him down as triple captain). He was back to his best, scoring 1 and assisting 2, to score 28 points in Man City’s thrilling 5-4 win at Fulham. Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi assisted in Crystal Palace’s 1-0 win at Burnley (14) and Aston Villa’s Donyell Malen scored from the bench to score 6 points this week in our thrilling 4-3 win at Brighton & Hove Albion. Morgan Rogers also scored 6 points.
His Bench Boost works wonder, as Guehi’s assist was for Daniel Munoz, who also score 14 points. He also got 4 points from Leeds United’s Defender Gabriel Gudmundsson, who starred in their 3-1 win over Chelsea. 18 points from the Bench Boost was not bad at all considering Newcastle United Goalkeeper Nick Pope was injured and Chelsea Midfielder Moises Caicedo was suspended.
This great performance sees his team move up a couple of places to 28th place on 673 points and will be hoping to push on, up the table. Unbelievable Darren!

Events At The Top
George Procter’s Cash in Cash Out team lead the way, after scoring a solid 77 points this week , putting him on 938 points total. Another excellent week for Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce scoring 80 this week, to stay in 2nd place on 841 points.
Jamie Stewart narrowly missed out on the team of the week but a superb 88 points for his 1. FC McGinniesta puts him up to 3rd place on 821 points, 3 clear of Benjamin King’s Accounts Playable team and 6 clear of his brother Jack’s Serious Konsaquences in 5th place.
There is just 11 points separating 3rd place to 7th, so expect to see lots of movements like a game of snakes & ladders!

A Strong and enjoyable week of FPL, the first midweek action of the season. Now back to the weekend and see what that will bring. Follow the progress of the FPL on the website.
Deadline for gameweek 15 team selections is 11:00am on Saturday 6th December.
