FPL- Gameweek 15

In the Bedford Lions and Lionesses League, we take a look at the team with a great name and an excellent week from their Midfield, plus the other events at the top of the table.

A Good Hit

This week, Matthew Laing’s team Absolute Creamers scored 83 points to take this week prize. Matthew used his Free Hit to good use. He only scored 8 points from his Strikers including his captain Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, only scoring 4 points. His Midfield however won wonders as all of them got on the scoresheet.

Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes (18 points) scored twice and assisted one in their 4-1 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers plus his teammate Bryan Mbeumo also scored in the game (8 points). Manchester City’s Phil Foden (12 points) scored in their 3-0 home win over Sunderland and finally Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon (10 points) scored from the penalty spot in their 2-1 home win over Burnley.

The team also scored well from his goalkeeper and 3 defenders, accumulating 27 points.

This moves the team up a couple of places to 11th on 828 points and only 4 points off the top ten.

Battle At The Top

George Procter’s Cash in Cash Out team lead the way, after scoring a 46 points this week , putting him on 984 points total. Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce scored 54 this week, to open up a little gap in 2nd place on 895 points.

Jamie Stewart’s 1. FC McGinniesta team stays in 3rd place on 821 points and it was good week for Sachin Thethy’s Marmoushy peas (867 points) and Luke Perkins’s guessing my team (862 points), who returned to the top five at the expense of Jack Stewart’s Serious Konsaquences and Benjamin King’s Accounts Playable.
