A fairly mixed week for the players this week but we take a look at the one who topped the charts plus the other events of the Bedford Lions Premier League.
The Joker
It was Iain Stewart who topped the match day table with an impressive 70 points. He started as I meant to go on by successfully selecting 2-0 home wins for Chelsea and Liverpool against Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively. He was fairly consistent with his other scores and then came the final game on the Sunday. He successfully put his joker on a 1-1 draw between Brentford & Leeds United.
Iain remains in 11th place with 699 points but is closing in fast on top 10 place. Can he get there after the next match stage?

Are You In A Title Race?
At the top of the table, the big winner in the top 3 was Luke Frost. He scored 59 points to keep him second on 844 points. I say that as both Param Basi and James had very tough weeks, both in the bottom 3 of the match day table. Param still leads Luke by 15 points and James is further back in 3rd on 817 points.
James’s tough week saw others outside the top 3 to close the gap including yours truly. I moved up to fourth on 801, just 2 ahead of Jamie Stewart.
Another good week for Troy sees him in 6th place with 781 points just 8 points ahead of Jack in 7th.
A full league table is below.

We now come to the final Match Stage before Christmas with full programme spread across 3 days. Then we go full speed with four match stages between Boxing Day and midweek before the 3rd round of FA Cup. Keep following the progress of the season on the website.
