Yes cheesy headline but with the name and being avid listener to ‘Greatest Hits’ radio it was the first thing that came to my head!
Cash Teek’s team Claude FC scored the 73 after an excellent choice of Captain. With Chelsea 2-0 down at half time at home to West Ham United, giving the armband to Joao Pedro didn’t seem like a wise choice. However, a remarkable second half recovery with Pedro scoring and assisting in a 3-2 win, scoring 20 points.
Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United, who was brought in by a lot of FPL Managers assisted twice (10 points) in their 3-2 win against Fulham.
This keeps Cash’s team in 28th place on 1,153 points and will be hoping for some more good gameweeks like this.
Pushing On
George Procter’s Cash in Cash Out team remains at the top on 1,461 points with Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce in 2nd on 1,385 points. Mark Stanyard’s Stanners FC 7 moves up to 3rd on 1,365 just 7 ahead of Paul Stanyard’s McGinn and Tonic , with Jack Stewart’s Serious Konsaquences staying 5th on 1,337 points.
Double Gameweek Announcement
With the League Cup Semi-Finals now finished, Arsenal will face Manchester City in the Final on Sunday 22nd March. This will bring some Double Gameweeks, with the first taking place the gameweek after next (26).
Arsenal will play away at Brentford in Gameweek 26 (Thursday 12th Feb) with them facing away game at bottom of the table Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wednesday 18th Feb). Naturally Wolves will be in the double gameweek with them facing away trip to Nottingham Forest (Wednesday 11th Feb).
The other match that will be arranged for double gameweek will be Manchester City Vs Crystal Palace but with the visitors involve in Conference League play-offs later this month, this will probably take place in April.
A lot to ponder then as we face two quick fire game weeks before the return of the FA Cup next weekend, starting tonight (Friday) with Leeds United taking on Nottingham Forest.
