FPL- Gameweek 34

This week, was always going to be harder to match the previous scores with FA Cup action going on at the weekend. It was likely to be a team that used a Free Hit to win the gameweek and that is exactly what happened. We also look at the events at the top of the Bedford Lions and Lionesses FPL and the FPL Cup.

Right On Target

It was Lynne Wilson’s BlairsBlunders that won the gameweek with a score of 69 points.

The captain did well with Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes assisting a goal in their 2-1 win over Brentford, scoring 10 points. Other big scorers in the team was Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White (13) scoring and assisting in their 5-0 win at Sunderland and West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen assisting both goals in their 2-1 win over Everton.

The team moves up 3 places to 23rd with 1,778 points.

Hotting Up

George Procter’s Cash In Cash Out leads the way on 2,044 with Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce 2nd on 1,971 and Jamie Stewart’s 1. FC McGinniesta in 3rd on 1,957 points.

Paul Stanyard’s McGinn and Tonic and Mark Stanyard’s Stanners FC are tied on 1,939 points with Matthew Laing’s Absolute Creamers just 2 points behind in 6th place.

Last week saw the beginning of the FPL Cup and now all bar one were involved in the last 32.
