This week, A player with an appropriate surname won the spoils in this gameweek! Plus the events at the top of the Bedford Lions and Lionesses FPL and who booked their place in the Final of the FPL Cup.
King Of Week
As we were all witnessing the King of Europa League, winning it for a 5th time! It was Benjamin King’s Accounts Playable who won the gameweek with 93 points.
His captain Erling Haaland scored 18 points, as Manchester City saw their title dream die with a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.
It was quite appropriate that a lot of the points came as we beat Liverpool 4-2, the game before we became the heroes of Istanbul!
Ollie Watkins (15) scored twice and assisted one while Morgan Rogers (12) scored one and assisted as well. There were also high points from the opposition centre back Virgil van Dijk (14) who scored both Liverpool goals.
This helped him moved up 6 places to 16th on 2,016 points.

When’s The Parade?!
It was 66 points this week from George Procter’s Cash In Cash Out side means he now has 2,268 points, looking odds on for the title.
Aaron Basi’s Gangsters Allardyce stays 2nd on 2,187 points and may have some joy of his own (more on that later).
A strong week for Paul Stanyard’s McGinn and Tonic has seen him move up 2 places to 3rd on 2,158, just 5 points ahead of Jack Stewart’s Serious Konsaquences. Matthew Lang’s Absolute Creamers and Jamie Stewart’s 1. FC McGinniesta are close behind with 2,149 and 2,147 points respectively.
